Frank Weckerle
A little backyard porch ditty called "Prunetucky Shuffle". I recorded this on my "Never Alone" CD a few years back.
I wrote this on a Sunday Morning in August a few years back, and recorded and released on my "Never Alone" CD.
"Summertime" a classic written in 1934 by George Gershwin.
Tis the Season!!
Never too early to start re-learning xmas songs..
Dusting off the xmas tunes..
"A Sunday Morning in August" & "Summertime"
Chet's Medley: "Windy & Warm", "Freight Train", "Wildwood Flower", & "Mr Bojangles"
Trying to hold it together for the last song of my set, "Let it Go", it is a heartfelt song about me trying to get home to see my Father one last time before his passing. I almost made it, he passed away about the same time as my plane touched down. RIP Dad!
One of my favorite guitar players is Chet Atkins- I tried to do a little homage to him (tried is the optimal word). A little montage of various covers that he did; "Don't Think Twice" (Dylan), "Mr. Bojangles" (Walker), "Freight Train" (E. Cotton), & "Wildwood Flower" (Carter Sisters)."
One of my favorite movie themes!
"Freight Train" from Elizabeth Cotton and "Wildwood Flower" from the Carter Family. I don't do them justice but they are fun to play.
A little sampler of Blue Funk Syndicate!
Promo playing with my good friends in "Beagle at the Door"
